Terms of reference

MISSION

To continuously improve the standards of operational and personal Safety in all aircraft and associated activities by co-operation and knowledge sharing.

OBJECTIVES

Benchmark and establish standards for:
- Aircraft Damage
- Personal incidents

Publish shared knowledge of loss producing events, specific working practices and aircraft specific handling issues.

Pool information from other Airside Safety Groups and disseminate amongst other members of IAHA.

Lobby Regulators, Airports, GSE manufacturers and Airlines for design improvements to infrastructure.

Establish minimum standards for employee training and qualifications.
